As you can see in the report below by Sky News Australia, Australia is considering following the lead of the U.S. and U.K. in listing the Iranian-backed Hezbollah as a terrorist organisation.
This important step will help cut off the ability of these terrorist groups to plot terrorist attacks and to raise money around the world.
Like Al-Qaeda and ISIS, Hezbollah has a global reach, with operations and plots disrupted in recent years in the Americas, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Since the Islamic revolution in Iran, Shiite-Islamist militias including Hezbollah have carried out terror attacks against Israel and other countries of the region on behalf of the Tehran terror regime.
Hezbollah, whose name means Allah's army, is a terrorist organization, based in Lebanon, whose goal is the destruction of Israel. In that pursuit it has attacked Jewish and Western targets worldwide. Tens of thousands of innocent people were murdered by Hezbollah, including innocent Israelis, Americans and Jews all over the world from Burgas, Bulgaria (2012 bus bombing) to Buenos Aires, Argentina (AMIA bombing).
It is hard to believe that a terrorist organization with high capabilities to carry out terrorist attacks around the globe is still legally authorized to operate on Australian soil.
This move to ban Hezbollah in Australia will also stop the annual Al Quds terror march.
Every year thousands of Muslims take to the streets of Sydney, Melbourne, London, Paris, Rome, Berlin and other major cities in Europe, to declare public support to Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.
They call it "Al Quds Day March", a Muslim holiday that was founded by the leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.
Hezbollah is an Islamic terrorist organisation, with an antisemitic ideology, an arsenal of missiles pointing at Israel, a history of terror attacks on Jewish targets in the West, and links to organised crime. The meaning of the name Hezbollah is "an army of Allah".
